Over the past few years, Instagram has become home to astrology memes and tarot pulls, crystal grids and spells. Something's in the air, and it's not just palo santo. In Ready for the World, Becca Klaver takes this cauldron of New Age vibes and girl culture and pop witchcraft and boils them down into something entirely sui generis, a grimoire for women facing down the old systems and building the new, whether they're doing the work in their diaries or on their Greyhound rides or, yes, with their Instagram accounts.
